What am I up to?
I am feeling like I have been very quiet lately, just reblogging people’s posts … very lazy I know :/
I am just finishing my second week of uni and feeling a bit overwhelmed as I am doing neuroscience Neurodevelopment, Neuropsychiatry, physical rehab, and ergonomics & safety science. All very full on subjects, which i need to work really heard to keep on top of.
I am now a member of my state’s OT student association assisting with their marketing and promotion to other OT students and building professional development evenings for our student members.
I also am starting a new job with a mental health association, where I am reducing social isolation to at risk individuals by teaching them how to use technology (eg. Email, Facebook etc). I am excited to start, but am waiting in the contract … Bring it on!
My father has also started a business, which I am helping him with painting the venue and online promotion …
I am also looking at my pracs for next year, and I need to decide soon where I will volunteer to go. I have decided against gong overseas (sorry Philipines!!!) as I will go rural instead. I hope this will provide me with more networking opportunities and give me more choices in what I want to specialize in.
I feel so so busy but am loving it!! It keeps me on track and forces me to study when I can, instead of procratinating (which I am surprisingly good at). So much going on right now … I think my brain is imploding
P.S. Jnenifre I bought cross stitching over my holidays and could not figure out how to start it … Lol. I might give it another go during my next holidays :)
